How to verify a RedotPay account.

Verification — often called KYC — is the identity check that unlocks full account and card functionality. This guide covers what the process usually involves, why submissions get rejected, and what a verified RedotPay account actually means.

What verification usually involves

Most crypto card platforms, RedotPay included, ask for a small set of standard items. The exact list depends on your country and the account level you want.

  • A government-issued photo ID such as a passport, national ID card, or driving licence.
  • A selfie or short liveness check to match your face to the document.
  • Personal details — full legal name, date of birth, and residential address.
  • Sometimes proof of address, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement.

How long it takes

Automated checks often complete within minutes. Manual review can take considerably longer, particularly during busy periods or when a document is borderline. Timelines are set by the platform, not by any reseller.

Why verification fails

Most rejections come down to avoidable document problems.

  • Blurred photos, glare, or a cropped edge on the document.
  • An expired ID, or a name that does not match the account details entered.
  • An address that does not match the supporting document provided.
  • A document type not accepted for your country.

What 'verified' means when buying an account

People search for verified RedotPay accounts because they want the checks already cleared. Be clear-eyed about it: an account verified under someone else's identity is not the same as an account verified under yours, and platform terms govern what is permitted.
